Description of the project

A new construction of a civil defense protective structure (radiation shelter) is planned in the village of Mygiya, Pervomaysky district, Mykolaiv region. The radiation shelter is planned to be built for the population and students (preschoolers of the preschool educational institution "Romashka" of the Mygiya village council. The protective structure of the PRU is equipped with internal engineering networks and systems: heating, ventilation, water supply, sewage, power supply, electric lighting, fire alarm and fire notification system, security alarm system, communication systems, gas control system, smoke protection system, structured cable networks, video surveillance. The project solves the problem of sheltering the population and, first of all, preschoolers.

The project is aimed at meeting the needs of vulnerable groups of the population, in particular preschool children, teaching and service personnel. The construction of this facility is necessary in view of the potential threat of possible radiation and other hazards. The presence of a radiation shelter will allow to minimize the risks to the life and health of participants in the educational process. The implementation of this project will have a significant positive impact on the life of the community, as they will be provided with protection in the event of emergencies. The construction of a radiation shelter in a preschool educational institution is a significant step towards increasing the safety and security of vulnerable groups of the population and contributing to the safety and security of the community.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The absence or unsatisfactory condition of shelters creates serious risks to the life and health of students (preschoolers) and staff in the event of emergencies, in particular military operations or man-made disasters. As a result of the implementation of the project "New construction of a civil defense protective structure (anti-radiation shelter) for the population and students on Yosypa Skarzhynskyi Street in the village of Mygiya, Pervomayskyi district, Mykolaiv region", the problem of full-fledged shelter for staff and preschoolers staying in the Romashka preschool educational institution during the period of threats will be completely resolved. The project capacity is designed for 100 people, which will allow sheltering in the PRU also some of the residents of the village of Mygiya.
