General information

Description of the project

To carry out reconstruction of the premises of the shooting range of the Municipal Institution "Vocational and Technical School No. 2" of the Dnipro City Council (letter B-3) at the address: Dnipro, Novoselivska St., building 27 to create a safe and functional space for military training and physical education of students in wartime conditions

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities, Improving the quality of services

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The municipal institution "Vocational and Technical School No. 2" of the Dnipro City Council initiates a project to reconstruct the shooting range premises to transform them into a modern, innovative and energy-efficient space of modern technologies. The main goal of the project: to ensure high-quality training of qualified workers whose skills meet the current needs of the labor market and the use of the latest technologies. • Current status and justification for the need: The premises allocated for the new space (the former shooting range of the School) are in unsatisfactory condition and require major intervention. To bring them up to modern standards of safety, energy efficiency and inclusiveness, it is necessary to carry out a complex of repair and construction works: • Modernization of engineering networks: complete replacement of water supply, sewage, heat supply and electricity supply systems, as well as installation of a modern ventilation system. • Internal works: performance of finishing works (floors, ceilings, walls), replacement of windows and doors. • Inclusivity: ensuring living conditions and accessibility for low-mobility population groups. Expected result: After the reconstruction, the space will be equipped with modern energy-efficient and multifunctional equipment, which will create a comfortable, safe and high-tech environment for learning and practical training of students.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

One of the obstacles to ensuring high-quality and competitive vocational education in the Municipal Institution "Vocational and Technical School No. 2" is the critically outdated material and technical base and infrastructure of the shooting range premises. Current problems are complex: 1. Physical wear and tear of engineering communications: The existing power supply, ventilation, water supply and sewage systems are morally outdated, physically worn out, inefficient and do not comply with the current building codes of Ukraine (DBN). This creates direct risks to the safety of the educational process and prevents the installation of modern high-tech equipment. 2. Incompatibility of space with new functions: The current planning of the shooting range premises is designed for a highly specialized function and cannot be effectively used to organize a multifunctional educational center (space of modern technologies), which requires flexible zoning and transformation. 3. Lack of modern equipment: Outdated or missing equipment does not allow training personnel adapted to the requirements of the modern labor market and the use of the latest technologies. Ways to solve the problem and implement the project: To effectively overcome the above challenges and achieve the project goal, a comprehensive strategy is envisaged, including: 1. Complete modernization of engineering infrastructure: • Carrying out major repairs with complete replacement of all electrical wiring to ensure the necessary capacity and safety. 2. Installing a modern, energy-efficient supply and exhaust ventilation system to maintain an optimal microclimate and air quality. 3. Complete replacement of water supply and sewage networks. 4. Using exclusively modern, certified building materials that meet fire safety standards and sanitary and hygienic requirements. 5. Transformation of architectural space: 6. Development of a new architectural project with elements of redevelopment, which provides for flexible zoning of premises. 7. Application of the principle of multifunctionality through the use of mobile (transformable) partitions, which will allow quickly adapting the space to different formats of training (lectures, practical classes, group work). • Ensuring the inclusiveness of the space for low-mobility groups of the population. 2. Equipping with modern equipment: 8. Formation of detailed specifications of the necessary energy-efficient and multifunctional equipment in accordance with the profile of specialist training. 9. Involvement of specialized suppliers to guarantee the quality and service of equipment. 10. Strict adherence to all tender procedures (through the ProZorro system) to ensure transparency and effective use of budget funds when purchasing equipment and performing work.
