Description of the project
The success of students in school and their comprehensive development depends on health. The key to this is, first of all, high-quality and proper nutrition. The school cafeteria of the Vynohradiv Lyceum is located in an old building that has never been overhauled. There is no modern equipment and inventory. Therefore, the modernization of the catering unit is extremely necessary. Engineering communications are outdated, mold has appeared. In addition, the equipment from the Soviet era consumes an excessive amount of electricity. Updating the material and technical base will make it possible to quickly and qualitatively prepare dishes in accordance with the requirements of the food safety management system (HACCP), comply with sanitary and hygienic requirements, expand the range of dishes, increase the productivity of the cafeteria staff, reduce water and electricity consumption, and allow students to eat healthy, high-quality and varied food. The Vynohradiv Lyceum is attended by 254 students. The issue of overhaul and modernization of the catering unit is extremely urgent for us!

Alternative technical solutions
Technical Solution 1
Reconstruction of the catering unit and dining room
Technical Solution 2
Partial modernization of an existing catering unit Repair and replacement of equipment inside an old building without a complete reconstruction of the building. Advantages: cost savings, preservation of the historic building, less impact on the educational process. Disadvantages: limitations in terms of space and layout, it is not always possible to provide modern standards without a complete renovation of the infrastructure.
