Description of the project
The "Castle" building at the address: Lesi Ukrainky Square, 9A, Zvyahel is a monument of local architectural significance and has historical, cultural and urban planning value. Due to a long period of operation without proper maintenance, its structural elements and interiors have suffered significant damage, which threatens both the preservation of the building itself and the safety of visitors.
Project goal:
- to preserve the monument of local architectural significance "Castle" from destruction, which will enrich the cultural landscape of the region;
- ensure the promotion of local economic development through increased tourist flows;
- ensure an increase in the number of events held;
- ensure barrier-free access for people with disabilities and vulnerable groups, which will increase visits to cultural heritage sites;
- create an inclusive space to improve mental health through cultural integration of those physically and mentally affected by war through art therapy;
- ensure the development of social activity of internally displaced persons;
- create conditions for the development of local domestic tourism and an additional source of funding for the community budget.

The project of repair and restoration works with partial reconstruction and adaptation aims to preserve the historical character of the building, while adapting it to the modern functional needs of the community (educational, cultural, inclusive, etc.).
Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation
The "Castle" building at the address: Lesi Ukrainky Square, 9A, Zvyahel is a monument of local architectural significance and has historical, cultural and urban planning value. Due to a long period of operation without proper care, its structural elements and interiors have suffered significant damage, which threatens both the preservation of the building itself and the safety of visitors. As a result of the project, the monument of local architectural significance "Castle" will be preserved from destruction, which will enrich the cultural landscape of the region and ensure the promotion of the development of the local economy through the growth of tourist flows and an increase in the number of events held. Barrier-free access will be provided for people with disabilities and vulnerable groups of the population, which will increase visits to the cultural heritage monument.
An inclusive space will be created to improve mental health through cultural integration of those physically and mentally affected by the war through art therapy. The development of social activity of internally displaced persons will be ensured. Conditions will be created for the development of local domestic tourism and an additional source of funding for the community budget.
