General information

Description of the project

Overhaul of a non-residential building of the village council is necessary to restore and improve the operational  properties of the existing  building using modern building materials and technologies. The project involves deep intervention, often replacing basic elements (roof, facade, networks), which requires stopping the operation of the facility.  The main components of the overhaul of the administrative building are: Structural elements: Repair or replacement of the roof, restoration/insulation of the facade, repair of the foundation, replacement of windows and doors, reinforcement of load-bearing walls. Engineering networks: Replacement of heating, water supply, drainage, electricity supply, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Internal works: Renewal of interior decoration of premises, repair of ceilings, floors. The project provides for the arrangement of service and auxiliary premises with office furniture.  Accessibility and improvement: Arrangement of unhindered access for groups of the population with limited mobility (ramps, lifts), improvement of the adjacent territory.  The project involves repairing the radiation shelter in the building and bringing it into line with the requirements and standards of the State Emergency Service and the norms of the State Emergency Service.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the project is to carry out major repairs to the administrative building of the Velikooleksandrivska Village Council in order to restore its proper technical condition, create safe and barrier-free access conditions for all population groups, including persons with disabilities and groups with reduced mobility. The implementation of the project is aimed at ensuring the possibility of providing a full range of administrative, social and other public services in comfortable and accessible conditions, as well as improving the quality of service to community residents.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Despite the completion of the main scope of works on capital repairs and ensuring barrier-free access, the administrative building requires the completion of certain measures to achieve a fully functional and energy-efficient state. The current problem remains the insufficient energy efficiency of the building, which leads to increased heating costs and reduced comfort of stay. Currently, the project provides for insulation of the facade of the building, which is necessary to complete the complex of repair works. If these measures are not implemented, heat losses and inefficient use of budget funds will persist. The implementation of the project will allow completing capital repairs, increasing the energy efficiency of the building, improving the working conditions of personnel and ensuring the stable provision of all types of public services to the population.
