General information

Description of the project

The project for the reconstruction of the water supply network of the village of Pervomayske, Velikooleksandrivska settlement territorial community, Beryslav district, Kherson region, envisages laying pipelines from two existing wells to water towers and a street network of combined household, drinking and fire-fighting with a diameter of 110, 90, 75 made of polyethylene pipes for supplying cold tap water, and carrying out other activities provided for by the design and estimate documentation.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Increasing compliance with modern standards, Introducing innovations and energy-efficient solutions, Improving the quality of services

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The description of the reconstruction project is a roadmap that turns an idea into technical documentation. In order for the project to receive funding, it must contain the following key sections: 1. General characteristics and justification. Goal: Reducing accidents, improving water quality, reducing losses (which often reach 40-60%) and ensuring 24-hour supply. Basis: Technical inspection reports confirming critical wear (corrosion, fistulas, non-compliance with DSTU 7525:2014). 2. Technical parameters (Design solutions). Routing: Plan for laying new networks (usually parallel to existing ones or with dismantling of old ones). Materials: Transition to modern polyethylene pipes (PE-100), which have a service life of more than 50 years and are not subject to corrosion. Fittings: Installation of well-less shut-off valves, pressure regulators and new fire hydrants. Ringing: Transition from dead-end schemes to ring ones to prevent water stagnation. 3. Technological stages of implementation. Preparatory: Clearing the route, dismantling the asphalt, installing temporary bypass lines (bypasses) for water supply to consumers. Earthworks: Digging trenches, arranging a sand "cushion". Installation: Welding pipes (thermoresistance or butt), installation of wells and chambers. Testing: Hydraulic tests for strength and tightness under pressure. Sanitary preparation: Washing and disinfection with chlorine solution with subsequent laboratory analysis of water. 4. Economic and environmental component. Energy efficiency: Calculation of electricity savings at pumping stations due to reduced leaks and hydraulic resistance. Estimate: Cost of materials, equipment work and restoration of landscaping (asphalting, lawns). 5. Risks and occupational safety. Measures to protect existing communications (communication cables, gas). Ensuring access for special vehicles (ambulance, fire department) during work.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation
