General information

Description of the project

The apartment building, which suffered significant damage as a result of military operations and is subject to major repairs, is located at 48/2 Lesya Serdyuka Street and is located in the Kyiv administrative district of Kharkiv.

As a result of the impact of the weapons, there was extensive damage to the wall panels, floor slabs, covering slabs, partitions, balcony floor slabs, the enclosing walls of the building's balconies, and the exterior decoration of the building. The entrance group of the 6th entrance was damaged, and the glazing of window, balcony openings and window frames on the facades of the residential building was also partially destroyed as a result of the explosion of the means of destruction.

The working project of the major repair provides for emergency and restoration work, namely:

  • dismantling of all damaged structures; - restoration of destroyed and damaged wall structures;
  • restoration of destroyed and damaged sections of the ceiling and covering of structures;
  • local reinforcement of wall panels and floor slabs;
  • installation of a new roof on the destroyed areas and restoration on the damaged areas;
  • restoration of destroyed and damaged internal partitions;
  • restoration of completely destroyed balcony slabs; - restoration of damaged balcony railings plates;
  • restoration of destroyed and damaged ventilation ducts;- replacement of destroyed and damaged window and door fillings with metal-plastic window and balcony doors with double-glazed windows;- restoration of facade insulation;- restoration of engine room roof insulation;
  • restoration of attic floor insulation;- restoration of entrance group No. 6;
  • restoration of destroyed and damaged engineering communications of the house (cold and hot water supply, sewage, drainage, heating);
  • restoration of the blind area around the building. The detailed design provides for measures regarding reliability and safety, protection of building structures from corrosion, lightning protection and grounding.

The design solutions provide for changing the existing conditions of accessibility of the house for people with limited mobility, namely the arrangement barrier-free access:

  • by installing external lifts from ground level to the entrance to the building in entrances 1-6;
  • installing external ramps at the entrances to entrances 7-9;
  • installing internal lifts in all entrances from the entrance platform to the elevator hall on the first floor.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The indicator of the achievement of the project goal is the implementation of measures to increase the efficiency and reliability of operation, ensure sustainable development to meet the needs of the population and the economic complex in housing and communal services in accordance with the established norms and national standards. The purpose of the major renovation of the building is to achieve an operationally suitable condition and ensure safety during its operation. The design solutions provide for the restoration of damaged structures from the 1st to the 9th entrances, including damaged floor slabs, load-bearing walls, balcony railings, roofing, glazing, as well as finishing works.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Problem: As a result of hostilities and shelling, an apartment building was damaged. As a result, the structures of the building from the 1st to the 9th, technical floors (1st...9th entrances) were destroyed and damaged. As a result of the impact of the weapons of destruction, numerous damages occurred to the wall panels, floor slabs, covering slabs, partitions, balcony floor slabs, enclosing walls of the balcony of the building were damaged and the exterior decoration of the building was damaged. The entrance group of the 6th entrance was damaged, and the glazing of window and balcony openings and window frames on the facades of the residential building was also partially destroyed as a result of the explosion of the weapons of destruction. Solution: Emergency restoration work (overhaul) of the apartment building to achieve an operationally suitable condition and ensure safety during its operation.
