General information

Description of the project

The project involves major repairs to the building of the "A" building of the "Velikooleksandrivska Hospital" at the address: Kherson region, Velyka Oleksandrivka village, Svoboda st. *(I stage). The building is two-story, with load-bearing brick walls, reinforced concrete floors and a maximum height of 11.81 m. Problems being solved: worn-out structural elements; outdated interior decoration; insufficient thermal efficiency; non-compliance with accessibility requirements; lack of modern solutions for fire, technogenic and operational safety. The essence of the work: dismantling of old structures; partial redevelopment; replacement of windows; insulation of the facade and basement; installation of a drain; repair of porches and ramps; renovation of interior finishes in wards, corridors, operating rooms, bathrooms; accessibility improvements; ensuring fire, technogenic, sanitary and operational safety in accordance with current regulations. Expected results: the hospital building has been restored and brought into compliance with regulatory requirements; improving conditions for the placement of wards, surgical and administrative premises; ensuring accessibility for groups with reduced mobility; increasing the level of fire and technogenic safety; improving the energy efficiency of the building; extending the operational life by 50 years.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Secondary goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Introducing innovations and energy-efficient solutions

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

To bring the building of building "A" of the KNP "Velikooleksandrivska Hospital" to the regulatory technical, operational, energy-efficient and safety level and ensure the possibility of providing medical services in accordance with current standards. Methods of achieving the goal Construction and structural work: dismantling of worn-out elements, partial redevelopment, repair of the roof, porches and stairs. Energy efficiency: insulation of the facade and basement, installation of energy-efficient windows, arrangement of a drainage system. Internal work: replacement of decoration in wards, operating rooms, corridors and bathrooms. Barrier-free: ramps with handrails, regulatory doorways, adapted bathrooms. Safety: compliance with fire, sanitary, technogenic and operational safety requirements. Gap between current and target state Current state: the building has worn structures, outdated interior surfaces, inefficient windows, no insulation, non-compliance with accessibility and fire safety standards. Target state: a modernized building that meets the standards of strength, durability, energy efficiency, accessibility and safety. Gap: non-compliance of the technical, sanitary and safety level of the existing building with regulatory requirements - eliminated through major repairs.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

1. Worn-out structures and premises The building is worn out: floors, partitions, doors, ceilings are subject to dismantling; redevelopment and replacement of finishes are required. Consequences: deteriorated conditions for providing medical services. Expected changes: renovated premises, compliance with building and sanitary standards. 2. Low energy efficiency Uninsulated facade and basement, old windows, no effective drainage system. Consequences: high heat loss and costs. Expected changes: reduced energy costs, stable microclimate. 3. Lack of accessibility There are no regulatory ramps, threshold-free entrances and adapted bathrooms. Consequences: limited access for low-mobility groups. Expected changes: complete barrier-free. 4. Non-compliance with fire and man-made standards Design solutions are needed to ensure fire safety requirements of level III. Consequences: risks of accidents and dangers. Expected changes: compliance with current safety requirements. 5. Non-compliance with sanitary requirements Outdated equipment in operating rooms, wards, bathrooms, corridors. Consequences: difficulty in complying with sanitary standards. Expected changes: modern finishing materials, safe hygienic conditions.

Project Sustainable Development Goals

Demand for the service and its dynamics

What methodology was used to estimate demand?

Has data from external sources been used in the demand assessment?

No

Does the demand forecast take into account the latest demographic and economic forecasts?

Yes
