General information

Description of the project

The detailed design envisages the relocation of the existing emergency domestic collector DN 800 mm with a total length of 126.2 meters using the “rehabilitation” method, pulling a Spirokor DN 600 mm polyethylene pipe into the body of the existing reinforced concrete pipe. The pipes are pulled through technological pits located near the existing inspection wells.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

Ensuring the continuity and reliability of the provision of municipal wastewater services by replacing two emergency sections of the existing domestic sewer collector DN 800 mm with a total length of 126.2 m, the condition of which is recognized as unsuitable for further operation (survey report dated 08.10.2025), with the repair and partial retrofitting of existing sewer wells in the amount of 6 units. The project provides for the overhaul of emergency sections of the existing sewer collector DN 800 mm on the territory of the State Water and Sewerage Administration, with a total length of 126.2 m, using the "rehabilitation" method - with the passage of polyethylene spiral-wound pipes SPIROKOR 600/678 Sn 8 inside the existing reinforced concrete pipe DN 800 mm. According to the act of inspection of the technical condition of the damaged sections of the collector dated 08.10.2025, drawn up by a commission consisting of representatives of the customer and the general designer, it was determined that the sections of the gravity collector DN 800 mm on the territory of the State Water and Sewerage Service, as a result of long-term operation since 1983, under the influence of aggressive gas from wastewater, are in an emergency state: there is a violation of gas corrosion of most of the pipeline, in some sections there are failures in the upper part of the pipeline, the existing sewer wells are significantly damaged, the pipeline is clogged with silt deposits. Major repairs of the damaged sections of the sewer collector are the main means for improving the sanitary and hygienic and environmental situation both in the construction area and in the city of Chornomorsk as a whole, and will also reduce the possibility of the development of emergency man-made situations in the long term.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Repair of damaged sections of the collector will ensure: - creation of an effective drainage system, increasing the reliability and durability of networks; - stable operation of engineering infrastructure; - prevention of accidents and flooding of territories, as well as reducing the cost of repairs in the future; - reduction of the risk of contamination of soils and water bodies; - improvement of the sanitary and epidemiological situation, increasing the comfort and quality of life of the population;
