General information

Description of the project

The project involves major repairs to the simplest shelter of the Slavutych Lyceum with a total area of 1,944.4 m2 in order to bring it into compliance with safety requirements, sanitary standards and principles of barrier-free living. Within the framework of the project, it is planned to carry out a complex of construction, engineering and finishing works, install life support systems and equip the premises with the necessary furniture and equipment; organize educational spaces for continuous education of lyceum students.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the equality of wealth distribution, Improving the condition of infrastructure, Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities, Improving the quality of services

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

Creating a safe, functional, and barrier-free space in the simplest shelter of the Slavutych Lyceum for use as a shelter and multifunctional educational space that will ensure the protection of participants in the educational process and meet modern civil defense requirements.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Problems that exist today: 1. The basement of the lyceum is not equipped with basic engineering networks (electricity, water supply, ventilation), does not meet safety requirements and sanitary standards and cannot be used for its intended purpose. 2. The use of a shared shelter with the BezMezh lyceum leads to a shortage of places, overloading the shelter and complicates the organization of a continuous educational process for both institutions. 3. The lack of its own shelter does not correspond to the strategic plans for the development of the city's educational network, in particular the transformation of the Slavutych Lyceum into an academic lyceum from 2027.
