General information

Description of the project

The project corresponds to the priority direction of the state policy on the return to safe full-time education and ensures the creation of safe conditions for obtaining education, the organization of a safe educational environment for participants in the educational process at the "Chemuzhiv Lyceum" educational institution, where 243 students study. The implementation of the project is aimed at the overhaul of the civil defense protective structure (radiation shelter), which is located in the basement of the two-story lyceum building, which is equipped with three entrances. The shelter capacity is designed for 320 people.  The overhaul of the protective structure is provided for according to an individual project, which has a positive expert report. The protective structure is classified as a CC2 consequence class and a fire resistance degree of II, group P-4. The area of common use premises (places) (including auxiliary) of the shelter – 860.6 m2. The civil defense protective structure provides for the presence of functional groups of premises (five main premises, premises for heating food; premises for storing food; sanitary and hygienic premises, etc.), accessibility of the protective structure for low-mobility groups of the population (including a lift for disabled people), replacement of engineering networks with their subsequent connection to the existing networks of the lyceum. The implementation of the project will contribute to the creation of safe conditions for obtaining general secondary education and the restoration of full-time education for more than 600 students of the community/

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Problem: The existing radiation shelter is in the final stages of major repairs and requires project adjustments, additional funding for project completion and commissioning. Solution: Project adjustments will allow for additional work that arose during the project, facilitate project completion, and ensure safe conditions for education and the resumption of full-time education for more than 600 community students.
