Description of the project

The project involves the completion of the reconstruction of the building of the former boarding school in the city of Zmiiv at 26 Sokolivskoye Shosse in order to create a housing complex for temporary accommodation of internally displaced persons. The project solves the problem of an acute shortage of housing for IDPs in the community by putting into operation a facility with a level of construction readiness of about 75%, which allows for a quick result with the rational use of already invested budget funds. The expected result is the creation of 74 full-fledged apartments with connected engineering networks, the arrangement of shelter, landscaping of the territory and the provision of safe and decent living conditions for internally displaced persons, as well as the preservation and effective use of communal property of the community.

The purpose of the public investment project is to meet the growing demand for safe and decent temporary housing for internally displaced persons by reconstructing an unfinished construction site in the city of Zmiiv and creating a new residential complex with the necessary engineering, social and security infrastructure. The goal is expected to be achieved by completing construction work, connecting the site to utilities, arranging shelter, ensuring inclusivity and improving the area. The implementation of the project will allow to eliminate the existing gap between the critical need for housing for IDPs and the limited capabilities of the community to accommodate them, ensuring the target level - the functioning of a full-fledged housing stock for temporary residence.
