Description of the project

Implementation of the modernization project (cartwork) of the Ladyzhyn Lyceum of the Ladyzhyn Village Council of the Uman District of the Cherkasy Region at the address: Cherkasy Region, Uman District, Ladyzhynka Village  Shkilna St., 20) (hereinafter the PROJECT) is the key to a healthy nation in the future - this is  full-fledged healthy nutrition for schoolchildren today.           In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Local Self-Government" (Article 32), the own powers of the executive bodies of village, settlement, and city councils include, in particular, the management of educational institutions, including the organization of meals in educational institutions. That is why the issue of major repairs of the dining room (catering block) of the Ladyzhyn Lyceum of the Ladyzhyn Village Council is a priority for the Ladyzhyn Village Council. A comprehensive approach when implementing the project involves safety of use, quality of food preparation and consumption, aesthetic component, compliance with sanitary standards, etc. The dining room at the school should perform a single function - eating, and therefore, when implementing the PROJECT, optimally favorable color schemes will be used for the design of the premises, which will contribute to the harmonious consumption of food, optimal decoration will be used: practical and functional furniture, naturalness and environmental friendliness of finishing materials, concise lighting, favorable interior, etc. When preparing the technical task for the design of modernization works, The dining room (catering unit) of the Ladyzhyn Lyceum of the Ladyzhyn Village Council took into account all the requirements for the equipment: thermal equipment (steam and convection ovens, multifunctional cooking systems, electric stoves) refrigeration equipment (refrigerators and freezers) electromechanical equipment (vegetable peelers, meat grinders, dough mixers, etc.) special and dishwasher equipment of the dining room (dishwasher, boiler washer, reverse osmosis system). The design took into account all the requirements for organizing modern and healthy nutrition for students. In 2025, a major overhaul was started. As of 02/24/2026, the following work was carried out in the catering unit: a sewage system was installed; partitions in the room were built; a rough floor screed was made; a metal-plastic partition was purchased; a metal-plastic partition was installed; a heating system was installed.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The material and technical condition of the Ladyzhyn Lyceum's dining room did not meet modern sanitary, hygienic and technological requirements for the organization of meals for students. Worn-out engineering networks, the lack of proper zoning of premises and the need to modernize heating and sewage systems made it impossible to fully and safely operate the dining room in accordance with current standards. A major overhaul of the dining room (dining room) of Ladyzhyn Lyceum should solve all problems.
