General information

Description of the project

The project is aimed at modernizing the wastewater system and improving the environmental situation in the community. The implementation involves the construction of modern treatment facilities that will ensure high-quality wastewater treatment in the city of Zbarazh in accordance with European environmental standards. The project aims to reduce the negative impact on the environment, improve sanitary and hygienic conditions, and create a safe and comfortable environment for city residents.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The project's goal is to increase the level of environmental safety and improve the living conditions of residents of Zbarazh by reducing environmental pollution and ensuring an effective wastewater disposal system through the construction and commissioning of modern treatment facilities equipped with wastewater treatment technologies in accordance with current national and European environmental standards. The project's goal is to be achieved by: designing and constructing a modern complex of treatment facilities with a capacity of 500 cubic meters per day; implementing effective wastewater treatment technologies, as well as their disinfection; ensuring the regulatory quality of treated wastewater before its discharge; reducing environmental risks and improving the sanitary and ecological state of the territory of the city of Zbarazh.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

In the industrial area of the sugar factory in Zbarazh, where a significant number of people live, the main number of community enterprises are concentrated, and an industrial park is planned to be created, the issue of building modern treatment facilities in this area of the city is acute, since the existing treatment facilities, which are located in the center of the city of Zbarazh, provide wastewater treatment only from its central historical part. The introduction of modern water treatment technologies will significantly reduce the environmental load, ensure compliance with sanitary standards, reduce the level of surface water pollution, and create safe conditions for residents and the further development of our community.
