General information

Description of the project

Creating a barrier-free environment by adapting the street infrastructure in the central part of the city to the standards of inclusion and accessibility. The route connects key community facilities - ASC, polyclinic No. 2, bus station (suburban), public transport stops and public space (the largest park in the city) and passes through the busiest part of the settlement, which residents use daily. The average daily passenger flow of the selected route is over 33,000 people. The existing pedestrian and transport infrastructure does not fully meet the requirements of barrier-free travel, so the route has been formed as the most socially significant route, providing access to basic administrative, medical and social services. The route is used daily by residents of the community's villages who arrive in the city at the bus station, students, employees and visitors to institutions, patients, public transport passengers, and families with children. After the development, it is expected to increase pedestrian activity and improve accessibility for veterans, people with disabilities, the elderly, parents with strollers, and school and preschool children.
