General information

Description of the project

The current legislation of Ukraine, as well as the recommendations of the State Emergency Service, make it impossible for students and employees to stay in an educational institution with a full-time form of education without a properly equipped shelter (protective civil defense structure) directly in the institution or at a minimum permissible distance. Unfortunately, on the territory of educational institutions located at: Donetsk region, Kramatorsk city, B. Khmelnytsky str., 25, or near them, there is no protective structure that meets the established safety standards. This requires taking urgent measures to preserve the lives and health of 520 students and employees of the Basic Institution of General Secondary Education "Academic", who will have the opportunity to carry out a continuous educational process in full-time and a combination of full-time and distance forms of education directly in the institution or at a minimum permissible distance.

Creation of safe and comfortable conditions for students and employees of the "Akademichny" OZZSO in the city of Kramatorsk, where there is no equipped shelter in the area during air and radiation alarms under martial law. The main goal is to ensure conditions for a long-term, comfortable and safe stay of teachers and students in the Kramatorsk community. It is planned to build a new separately located anti-radiation shelter on the territory of the educational institution. The estimated implementation period is 12 months.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

After construction, the radiation shelter will comply with building, sanitary and fire safety standards and will create safe and comfortable conditions for its use by students, employees of the institution and residents of the city of Kramatorsk. Employees of educational institutions provide high-quality education and upbringing of children in extremely difficult conditions. They actively contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive educational environment, which is important for the social adaptation and psychological well-being of students. The implementation of the project will solve the main problem of organizing a safe space for the long-term, comfortable and safe stay of teachers and students.
