General information

Description of the project

Ventilation of the Sports Palace "Yunist" is supply and exhaust with mechanical and natural air movement. The total ventilation capacity is 58.3 kW. The ventilation equipment of the Sports Palace is outdated, the main duct system is in a state of emergency. All this can lead to the destruction of the building structures. The need for this project is due to the urgent elimination of the emergency state, in order to prevent the destruction of the structures of the Sports Palace building. Due to the unsatisfactory technical condition of the existing swimming pool ventilation systems, it is impossible to provide standardized temperature and humidity air parameters. High humidity accelerates the corrosion of steel structures and negatively affects the general technical condition of the building. As part of the first phase of the overhaul of the general ventilation system in the swimming pool premises (children's and adult changing rooms, bathrooms and utility rooms), the gymnasium, and the wrestling hall, it is planned to equip them with general ventilation units in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents and calculations. The installation of the main equipment is planned in the technical premises of the building using existing openings. The system is planned with air recovery and reheating from external heating networks.

Carrying out major repairs to the general ventilation system in the swimming pools and sports halls of the Sports Palace to ensure normalized temperature and humidity parameters of the air, which is due to the urgent elimination of the emergency situation, in order to prevent the destruction of building structures

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

As a result of the overhaul of the ventilation system, normalized temperature and humidity parameters of the air will be ensured, which will: stop the negative impact of high humidity on the building structure and general technical condition; provide comfortable conditions for visitors for sports and recreation activities; ensure economical and rational use of energy resources.
