Economic Analysis
Social benefits and costs
The construction of the surgical building of the Novograd-Volyn City-District Territorial Medical Association at 13 Natalia Orzhevska Street in the city of Zvyahel has significant social benefits. The project will help improve the quality and accessibility of medical care, reduce the need for patients to travel to other cities, and increase the safety and comfort of treatment. Creating modern working conditions for medical personnel will allow attracting qualified specialists and increase the level of service provision. During construction and after the facility is put into operation, new jobs will appear, which will positively affect employment and economic development of the community. At the same time, the implementation of the project requires significant financial costs for construction, equipment, and further maintenance of the building. However, in the long term, the benefits significantly outweigh the costs, as the facility will increase the level of medical care, quality of life, and social security of the population of the city and district.
Environmental benefits and costs
The construction of the surgical building of the Novograd-Volynskyi Municipal District Territorial Medical Association has both environmental benefits and costs. The main environmental benefits include improving sanitary and hygienic conditions in the medical facility. The use of energy-efficient technologies and modern materials will reduce energy and water consumption, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the amount of waste. However, the project has certain environmental costs: during construction, there may be a temporary deterioration in air quality due to dust and emissions from construction equipment, an increase in noise levels, the generation of construction waste, and a temporary burden on the local ecosystem.
Indirect benefits and costs
The construction of the surgical building of the Novograd-Volynskyi Municipal District Territorial Medical Association also has a number of indirect benefits and costs. Indirect benefits include increasing the attractiveness of the city of Zvyahel for living, studying and working due to improving the quality of medical services and social infrastructure. This can stimulate the influx of young professionals, increase investment in related industries, development of services and small businesses. Reducing the level of morbidity and increasing labor productivity of the population will also have a positive impact on the economy of the community. In addition, improving the image of the city as a safe and socially developed center will contribute to its long-term development. Indirect costs include a possible increase in the load on transport and utility infrastructure, an increase in costs for maintaining adjacent territories and social services. In the future, the need for additional budget expenditures for expanding the medical network and providing staff may increase. However, overall, indirect benefits predominate, as the facility positively impacts the socio-economic development of the community and improves the quality of life of the population.
