General information

Description of the project

Reconstruction is planned on the territory of the existing water pumping station "Prydniprovsk", in particular, the replacement of morally and physically obsolete main equipment in the VNS machine room, pipelines and shut-off valves is being carried out; reconstruction of the RP-10 kV with replacement of transformers and reconstruction of the RP-0.4 kV with installation of ACS cabinets, building repair, reconstruction of heating and ventilation systems, replacement/installation of internal and external lighting, installation of lightning protection, reconstruction of the heating system.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Introducing innovations and energy-efficient solutions

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the quality of services

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

Taking into account modern trends aimed at maximum use of energy resources and introduction of energy-saving technologies during reconstruction, it is planned to install new modern equipment aimed at preventing energy losses and ensuring its rational use. The following energy-saving measures are envisaged: - replacement of two existing booster pumps with new ones with lower power consumption; - replacement of drainage pumps with new ones with lower power consumption; - thermal modernization of the water pumping station building (insulation of the engine room, chlorinator, passage building with thermal insulation mineral wool slabs with decoration with a decorative solution to reduce heat energy losses for heating the building).

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

At the moment, the station has morally and physically outdated equipment installed, which does not meet modern norms and standards, and is also very energy-intensive. The existing capacity of the station today is 2020 m3/h. The reconstruction involves the installation of two new pumps with a capacity of 650 m3/h each, instead of the two existing ones, which are morally and physically outdated. Thus, the installed capacity of the VNS for pumping equipment will be 2300 m3/h with a real load or supply need today according to the regime maps and reports on needs of about 5307 m3 per day or 222 m3/h. Therefore, to achieve the goal of the project, reconstruction is an urgent need.
