General information

Description of the project

The project involves the reconstruction of the operating room of the surgical building of the KP "Hospital No. 2 named after V.P. Pavlusenko" of the Zhytomyr City Council. It is planned to redevelop the premises of the second floor in accordance with modern medical and technological requirements, modernize engineering systems (ventilation, power supply, medical gases), reconstruct the ventilation chamber, thermally renovate facades and increase the energy efficiency of the building, as well as equip the operating rooms with modern medical equipment. The expected results are the creation of a modern operating room with three functional operating rooms (scheduled, emergency, trauma); ensuring a high level of infection control and patient safety; improving the quality and accessibility of specialized surgical care to the community; improving the working conditions of medical personnel; reducing energy consumption and operating costs of the institution.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Improving the quality of services

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Increasing compliance with modern standards

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

To modernize the operating room of the surgical building of the KP "Hospital No. 2 named after V.P. Pavlusenko", providing modern conditions for safe and free surgical care for patients. Methods of achievement Reconstruction of the building and engineering networks in compliance with modern standards and fire resistance class II. Installation of a modern ventilation system and medical equipment. Gap between the current and target state Current state: the operating room requires updating of ventilation, engineering systems and equipment to ensure modern standards. Target state: modern, comfortable and safe operating room with effective ventilation and modern medical equipment. The project closes the gap through comprehensive reconstruction and modernization.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The existing infrastructure of the operating room is outdated: ventilation and equipment do not meet modern standards, the capacity of the premises is limited, and the level of infection control is low. This reduces the safety and effectiveness of surgical care and limits patient access. The implementation of the project will provide modern working conditions, increase the capacity and efficiency of the operating room, and improve the availability of free surgical care.
