On the territory of the municipal institution "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 162 of the Kharkiv City Council", located at the address: Kharkiv, Lvivska St., 13, it is planned to build a civil defense protective structure (radiation shelter). The construction of a civil defense protective structure (radiation shelter) is planned to be carried out according to an already tested project, which has already been implemented in the Novobavarskyi district of the city of Kharkiv, namely: a civil defense protective structure (radiation shelter) on the territory of the municipal institution "Kharkiv Lyceum No. 153 of the Kharkiv City Council", located at the address: Kharkiv, Akademika Bogomoletsa St., building 15. The implementation of this project will provide an opportunity to receive full-time education in safe conditions for about 900 students of grades 1-11 in two shifts and about 100 students of kindergartens of senior preschool age (groups of preparation for school). The education will cover children from the microdistrict, which includes lyceums No. 162, 28 and 3 kindergartens (ZDO No. 88, 143, 163).

The ongoing armed aggression and shelling of the territory of Ukraine make the protection of the population a priority of paramount importance. The new construction of a civil defense protective structure (radiation shelter) is a guarantee of people's safety, which will become the basis for stabilization and restoration of normal life.
