General information

Description of the project

The project involves major repairs and technical re-equipment of the pumping station and hydraulic structures of the drainage system "Zagoroshcha" in the Kornyn territorial community. The work includes replacing worn-out pumping and electrical equipment, restoring structural elements, cleaning channels, repairing protective dams, and modernizing control systems. The implementation of the project will ensure stable drainage, reduce the risk of flooding of land and residential buildings, and increase the reliability of the system and its energy efficiency.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Rebuilding the damaged/destroyed

Secondary Goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to restore the effective operation of the Zagoroshcha drainage system through major repairs and technical re-equipment of the pumping station and hydraulic structures. To achieve the goal, it is planned to replace worn-out pumping and electrical equipment, repair structural elements of structures, restore the capacity of canals and modernize control systems. The implementation of these measures will ensure stable drainage, reduce the risk of flooding of community territories and increase the reliability and energy efficiency of the entire drainage system.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Key problems: high degree of physical wear and tear of the pumping station and hydraulic structures; insufficient pump performance, which leads to the risk of flooding; silting and overgrowing of channels, which reduces their throughput; low energy efficiency and significant operating costs; frequent emergencies and the need for constant repairs; non-compliance of equipment with modern safety standards and environmental requirements. Expected results after project implementation: stable operation of the pumping station and effective drainage; reduction of the risk of flooding of agricultural lands and residential buildings; restoration of the throughput of channels and normalization of the water regulation regime; reduction of energy consumption due to new equipment; increased reliability and safety of system operation; extension of the resource of hydraulic infrastructure and reduction of maintenance costs.
