General information
Description of the project
3522 people live in the village of Ropcha of the Storozhynets urban territorial community. This populated area is quite large. The village is located 7 km. from the administrative center of the community - the city of Storozhynets and 30 km. from the regional and district center - the city of Chernivtsi. The Ropcha Lyceum named after «Štefan cel Mare shi Sfint» operates on the territory of the village of Ropcha, where 327 students study and the «Giochel» preschool educational institution, where 60 children are educated, therefore the presence of all vital and socially important facilities that ensure the vital activity of the settlement is absolutely necessary. As is known, physical culture, physical education and sports are important factors in the health of the population, disease prevention and organization of meaningful leisure. However, in the conditions of information and technological development, people often lead a relatively calm lifestyle. Of particular concern recently is the deterioration of the health of children and adolescents, more than 80% of whom, according to operational data of the KNP "Storozhynetska BLIL", have health abnormalities, more than 50% have an unsatisfactory state of physical development. Unfortunately, diseases typical of people of mature age are progressing in the younger generation. The desire of residents of the village of Ropcha to engage in sports is hampered by the lack of proper conditions and modernly equipped facilities for physical culture and sports. At the same time, in the communal property of the Storozhynets City Council on M. Eminescu Street there is a vacant plot (cadastral number 7324588000:02:002:1001), on which a sports ground with artificial turf can be placed, where not only school and kindergarten students, but also everyone who wants to, could engage in physical culture during extracurricular hours. The construction of the sports ground will contribute to the development of modern infrastructure in the field of sports, the formation of a healthy lifestyle, improving the health of community residents and increasing the level of living comfort in the territory of the village of Ropcha.
