General information

Description of the project

Providing uninterrupted power supply for 129 nodes of the sensor part of the video surveillance system by installing backup and uninterruptible power supplies and organizing their maintenance.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the condition of infrastructure, Introducing innovations and energy-efficient solutions

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

ensuring uninterrupted and stable operation of video surveillance system nodes; increasing the effectiveness of monitoring the security situation in the city; ensuring the ability to respond promptly to emergencies, offenses and other threats to public safety; maintaining video surveillance system equipment in proper technical condition; increasing the service life of video surveillance system equipment by protecting it from power surges and outages.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

In connection with emergency and power outages, there is a need to ensure uninterrupted operation of the video surveillance system nodes. This will guarantee the stable functioning of the security situation monitoring system, timely detection and response to emergency events and offenses, as well as ensure the continuity of the system equipment. For this purpose, it is necessary to provide for the implementation of backup power supply systems for video surveillance nodes, which will ensure their stable operation during power outages and help maintain the equipment's operability. Today, the functioning of the city video surveillance system depends on the stability of the power supply. In connection with emergency and power outages, the following problems arise: interruption of the operation of video surveillance system nodes during a power outage; inability to continuously monitor the security situation in the city; reduction in the effectiveness of the response of law enforcement agencies and services to emergency events and offenses; risk of damage or premature wear of the system equipment due to unstable power supply; inability to ensure full operation of the system during further expansion of the video surveillance network. Results expected to be obtained as a result of the project implementation The implementation of the project to ensure uninterrupted power supply of video surveillance system nodes will allow: to ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of video surveillance system nodes even during power outages; to increase the efficiency of control and monitoring of the security situation in the city; to ensure prompt response of relevant services to emergency events and offenses; to increase the reliability and technical stability of the system equipment; to extend the service life of the video surveillance system equipment; to create conditions for further development and expansion of the video surveillance network in the city.
