The implementation of the project will include a complex of construction and engineering works, modernization of internal premises and life support systems, renewal of engineering networks, as well as the installation of modern medical equipment. The reconstruction will increase the functionality of the hospital, provide comfortable and safe conditions for patients and medical staff, optimize the use of energy resources and contribute to improving the accessibility of medical care for residents of the Ivankiv community.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to improve the level of medical care for the population of the Ivankiv community through a comprehensive reconstruction of the medical building of the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise of the Ivankiv Village Council “Central District Hospital”. The implementation of the project is aimed at creating modern, comfortable and safe conditions for patients and medical staff, ensuring the effective functioning of the medical institution and implementing energy-efficient solutions to optimize the costs of maintaining the building. Achieving the set goal involves the implementation of comprehensive measures. In particular, it is planned to carry out construction and technical works, including the reconstruction of the facade and roof of the building, modernization of internal premises, restoration of walls, floors, ceilings and sanitary equipment, as well as the arrangement of accessible routes for people with disabilities. It is planned to modernize engineering networks: updating heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, modernization of power supply and lighting using energy-efficient solutions, as well as modernization of water supply and drainage to ensure reliable functioning of sanitary systems. To ensure the full operation of the hospital, modern medical equipment and furniture that meet healthcare standards will be installed, and departments for diagnostics, treatment and patient care will be equipped taking into account modern requirements. In addition, the project provides for increasing the energy efficiency and safety of the building by using energy-saving materials and technologies, installing access control systems, fire alarms and other security measures. The implementation of the project will ensure modern standards of medical care, increase the safety and comfort of patients and staff, reduce building maintenance costs and create conditions for the further development of the hospital as a center for providing quality medical care in the Ivankiv community.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The problems that exist in the medical building of the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise of the Ivankiv Village Council “Central District Hospital” are primarily related to the age of the buildings, worn-out engineering networks and outdated medical equipment. Old walls, floors, ceilings and roofs create risks for the safety of patients and staff and reduce the comfort of staying in the hospital. The engineering systems of heating, water supply, electricity supply and ventilation do not meet modern standards, which leads to high costs for maintaining the building and limits the efficiency of the institution. Also, the premises lack adapted means of movement, ramps and bathrooms for people with disabilities, and some of the medical equipment is morally and technically outdated. In addition, the building has low energy efficiency due to the lack of modern thermal insulation and energy-saving technologies, which leads to additional costs for heating and electricity. As a result of the project, it is planned to solve these problems. The overhaul of the building and premises will provide safe and comfortable conditions for patients and staff. Modernization of engineering networks will increase the efficiency of the institution and reduce maintenance costs. Arrangement of ramps, adapted bathrooms and transportation routes will ensure comfortable use of medical services for people with disabilities. Installation of modern medical equipment will improve the quality of medical care and allow the implementation of modern treatment methods. The use of energy-saving materials and technologies will ensure increased energy efficiency of the building and budget savings. Thus, the implementation of the project will allow to improve the level of medical care, create safe and comfortable conditions for patients and staff, reduce building maintenance costs and strengthen the potential of the hospital as a modern center for providing medical care in the Ivankiv community.
