Description of the project
From August 2022 to February 2026, the number of appeals from servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine exceeded 10,000 people. Over the last period, the number of appeals from servicemen has been increasing. Given the significant number of Defenders who received mine-explosive facial injuries, gunshot facial injuries and other complex injuries, the issue of creating a department of maxillofacial surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery with subsequent rehabilitation on the basis of the State Educational Service "BSP of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" arose.

Providing high-quality specialized dental care:
- to military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,
- to war veterans,
-coordination of organizational and methodological work aimed at increasing the effectiveness of treatment and rehabilitation of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and war veterans.
Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation
As a result of the implementation of the aforementioned project, the creation of a rehabilitation center will enable military personnel and war veterans to receive high-quality specialized dental care due to mine and gunshot facial injuries and return them to a full life.
