General information

Description of the project

Creating safe and proper conditions for patients, medical staff and hospital visitors during the legal regime of martial law. Ensuring uninterrupted provision of medical care in emergency situations.Restoration of structures: Waterproofing of premises, repair of walls, floors and ceilings using specialized materials resistant to moisture and fungus.Modernization of engineering networks: Complete replacement of power supply, water supply and sewage systems.Installation of ventilation: Installation of a modern filter ventilation system to purify the air and maintain the necessary microclimate.Ensuring inclusion: Adaptation of the entrance and interior space for low-mobility groups of the population (ramps, wide doorways, handrails, special bathrooms).

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary goal:

Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The main goal of such a project is to bring the protective structure into a state of readiness for use for its intended purpose. This means that in the event of an emergency (for example, an air raid), the structure will be able to provide reliable protection for people. The main tasks that are solved during major repairs are: Restoration or replacement of damaged structures. Restoration of the operability of engineering systems. Ensuring that the structure complies with modern standards and requirements. The project solves a number of important problems that arise due to the aging and wear of protective structures: Inability to use: Many shelters are in a neglected state, which makes them unsuitable for shelter. Danger to people: Outdated ventilation systems, emergency power grids, or lack of tightness can pose a threat to the health and life of people taking shelter there. Non-compliance with standards: Civil defense standards are regularly updated, and old structures do not always comply with them. Major repairs help eliminate this non-compliance. The expected results from the implementation of such a project are tangible and important for the community: Readiness of the structure for use: The protective structure will be fully functional and ready to receive people in case of danger. Increased safety: High-quality repairs and modernization of equipment guarantee reliable protection against threats. Compliance with modern requirements: The renovated structure will comply with all current state building codes and civil defense rules.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Problems that exist in Soviet-era defensive structures include the emergency state of engineering systems, ineffective ventilation, humidity and fungus, non-compliance with inclusiveness standards, outdated planning, lack of autonomy. Major repairs allow you to completely rethink the space in accordance with DBN V.2.2-5:2023 standards: installation of modern waterproofing, air dehumidifiers and a heating system, installation of new supply and exhaust ventilation with automation that provides air purification from dust, gases and smoke, replacement of pipes with modern ones (polypropylene), installation of tanks for emergency supplies of technical and drinking water, arrangement of modern bathrooms, installation of lifts or ramps with a regulatory slope, expansion of doorways, installation of tactile navigation, laying new non-combustible wiring and connecting a diesel generator with an automatic emergency response system, decoration of walls with materials that withstand disinfection, and creation of special zones for providing assistance. Instead of a "damp basement", the hospital gets a hermetic fortress, where: the air is clean and dry (important for patients with respiratory diseases), light and water are always available, regardless of the state of the city's networks, logistics are fast: patients on stretchers can be easily delivered from the department to the shelter.
