General information

Description of the project

An apartment building that suffered significant damage as a result of military operations and is subject to major repairs is located on ul. Krychevsky, 42 and is located in the Kyiv administrative district of Kharkiv.

As a result of the impact of the means of destruction, the house was damaged:

  • brick wall of the 4th floor of the 2nd entrance;
  • external decoration of the 2nd, 3rd entrances;
  • ceiling of the 4th floor of the 2nd, 3rd entrances;
  • burning of the roof of the 2nd, 3rd entrances - internal decoration of the entrances, numerous cracks in the stairwells.

In the house, in general, partial destruction of the glazing of window openings and window frames was found, the facade of the residential building was partially damaged as a result of the fire.

Working the overhaul project provides for emergency and restoration work, namely:

  • dismantling of all damaged structures);
  • restoration of external and internal brick walls by masonry, installation of new partitions instead of destroyed ones made of aerated concrete blocks with reinforcement;
  • restoration of the damaged reinforced concrete floor slab of the 4th floor with the installation of steel beams with the subsequent execution of a section of monolithic reinforced concrete floor;
  • installation of a new wooden rafter system of the roof with wood treatment with antiseptic agents and fire-resistant bioprotection;
  • restoration of ventilation ducts on the attic floor by brick masonry;
  • installation of roofs on the restoration areas with bitumen tiles with insulation of the attic floor;- restoration of the external drainage system of the house, snow retention system and roof fencing, installation of lightning protection;
  • insulation of the basement ceiling with mineral wool;- installation of stairs on the mezzanine of the 3rd and 4th floors;
  • replacement of damaged window openings (installation of window sills and window drains, repair and installation of external window slopes);
  • replacement of damaged glazing of attic windows with energy-saving metal-plastic glazing with double-chamber double-glazed windows and gluing of colored film on the outside. Replacement of damaged external and internal doorways of public use and apartments with shockproof and fire-resistant metal ones;
  • repair and restoration of entrance groups (including canopies above entrances to entrances and basements);
  • insulation of the facade with mineral wool boards with decorative trim;
  • restoration of interior trim in public areas;
  • restoration of damaged internal engineering networks (cold and hot water supply, sewage, drainage, heating, ventilation).

The detailed design provides for measures for reliability and safety, protection of building structures from corrosion, lightning protection and grounding.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The indicator of the achievement of the project goal is the implementation of measures to increase the efficiency and reliability of operation, ensure sustainable development to meet the needs of the population and the economic complex in housing and communal services in accordance with established regulations and national standards. The purpose of the major repair of the building is to achieve an operationally suitable condition and ensure safety during its operation. Design solutions for the major repair of a damaged multi-apartment residential building are provided without changing the geometric dimensions and functional purpose of the object, with intervention in the load-bearing and enclosing systems, with the replacement or restoration of destroyed or damaged structures.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Problem: As a result of hostilities and shelling, an apartment building was damaged. There is damage to the load-bearing and enclosing structures, the extent and nature of which indicates the need to carry out work on the partial dismantling of parts of the object or its individual structures, strengthening the object or its individual load-bearing and enclosing structures. Solution: Emergency restoration work (overhaul) of an apartment building to achieve an operationally suitable condition and ensure safety during its operation.
