Description of the project

The project involves the continuation of major repairs of the simplest shelter located in the basement of the building of the KZSMO "Music School No. 12" of the KMR at the address: 29A Plyazhna St., Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, with an area of 42 square meters designed for 50 people. The project ensured that the shelter was brought into compliance with safety and civil protection requirements, in particular, construction and engineering work was performed, a ventilation system, fire alarm, lighting were installed, and appropriate conditions were created for temporary stay of people during an air raid.

The goal of the project is to modernize the simplest shelter, located in the basement of Music School No. 12, by continuing its major renovation in order to bring it into full compliance with current state building codes, civil protection requirements, and modern standards of safety, functionality, and operational reliability.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Problem: Before the start of the project, the institution lacked a properly equipped protective structure, which made it impossible for students and employees to stay safely during air raids and created risks of interrupting the educational process. Solution: On 02/10/2025, a tender procedure was launched for the project of major repairs of the simplest shelter in the basement of the music school building, the bidding did not take place (failure to submit proposals from suppliers). On 04/18/2025, contract No. 4 was concluded with Agro BUD Group LLC for the amount of UAH 2,665,933.00. During the execution of the work (waterproofing, sewage, heating systems and water supply), the Contractor coordinated a number of technical issues with the author of the project, since the decisions made by him required adjustments in part to the cost of construction products, the volume of work performed, etc. Continuing the overhaul of the simplest shelter, namely: installation of ventilation, air conditioning and lighting systems; ensuring the creation of necessary conditions for people (seating, sanitary areas), will allow creating safe conditions for 50 people during air raids.
