General information

Description of the project

The project involves major repairs to the existing elevator shaft of the main medical building in order to ensure safe and uninterrupted transportation of patients on gurneys, medical equipment and cargo between the hospital floors. 

During the implementation of the project, it is planned to: 

  • dismantling worn-out and unusable equipment;
  • restoration and strengthening of the shaft's structural elements;
  • installation of a new modern medical freight elevator with the appropriate load capacity;
  • installation of power supply, communication, ventilation and emergency lighting systems for elevator equipment;

The project aims to ensure safe and continuous transportation of patients, including bedridden patients, medical staff and necessary medical cargo between floors of the main medical building by overhauling the elevator shaft and installing a modern freight elevator. The project will contribute to improving the quality and accessibility of medical services, improving logistics within the hospital, creating a barrier-free environment and complying with the requirements of current building and sanitary standards.

Currently, the elevator shaft infrastructure is not suitable for the operation of a freight elevator, it is necessary to replace the existing network and install a new elevator with components
