IVANO-FRANKIV REGIONAL STATE ADMINISTRATION

Our Prykarpattia is a bright pearl on the map of Ukraine. The region is famous for its unique culture, centuries-old history, hospitable and sincere people, picturesque landscapes. The emerald hills of the Carpathians and rapid streams of mountain rivers will not leave anyone indifferent who sees them at least once! And Ivano-Frankivsk region is a reliable economic rear of the state, where during a full-scale war, entrepreneurship develops, proper conditions are created for relocated businesses and new jobs. We are working on improving the investment climate in Prykarpattia in order to implement ambitious projects for the development of the region in synergy with international partners.

The mission of the Ivano-Frankivsk region is to ensure the well-being and high quality of life of current and future generations in the conditions of the development of a competitive and innovative economy based on the preservation of cultural traditions, natural features and advantages of the region.

Strategic, operational goals and objectives:

1. A competitive economy based on smart specialization
   1.1. Stimulating the development of innovative types of economic activity, attracting investments:
   -Development of the innovative component of types of economic activity with significant potential (in the field of woodworking, chemical industry, agro-industrial complex and creative industries, etc.);
   - Preparation and support of investment projects (creation of industrial and technological parks);
   - Increasing investment attractiveness and international promotion of the region;
   -Development of small and medium-sized enterprises, including initiatives of people with disabilities and youth (clusters, science and technology parks, networks, hubs, etc.).
   1.2. Energy self-sufficiency: -Development of alternative energy; - Formation of an energy-efficient society.
   1.3. Development of the tourism and recreation sphere:
   -Development of tourist infrastructure and navigation; - Preservation and management of natural and cultural heritage;
   - Creation of new and support of existing tourist products and attractions, including in mountainous areas, their accessibility for people with disabilities;
   -Marketing of tourism potential of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
   1 . 4. Stimulation of the economic development of communities, rural and mountainous areas :
   -Development of farms and agricultural service cooperatives, production of organic agricultural products;
   -Development and technological re-equipment of agricultural production enterprises, creation of infrastructure for storage, sorting and processing of agricultural products;
   - Improvement of spatial planning tools; -Increasing the financial capacity of communities, including through small business development.
2. Development of the infrastructure of the region
   2.1. Development of road transport, logistics, border infrastructure:
   -Construction, reconstruction, overhaul of bridges and roads of public use of state and local importance;
   - Development of transport and logistics border infrastructure, modernization;
   - International airport "Ivano-Frankivsk";
   - Safety of transport infrastructure;
   -Development of roadside infrastructure, including for people with disabilities.
   2. 2. Development of the infrastructure of territorial communities:
   - Provision of high-quality administrative services in united territorial communities, including for people with disabilities;
   - Improvement of housing and communal infrastructure; -Development of information and communication infrastructure of communities.
3. Creation of comfortable and safe living conditions in the territory of Ivano-Frankivsk region:
   3.1. Ensuring equal access, improving the quality of medical and educational services, and developing sports in communities :
   -Increasing the quality and availability of medical services: construction, reconstruction and improvement of the material and technical base of health care facilities;
   - Improving the quality and availability of educational services: construction, reconstruction and improvement of the material and technical base of educational institutions:
   - Creation of conditions for the integration of the system of higher education institutions into the European educational space, support of international exchanges of students, postgraduates, teachers;
   -Development of sports infrastructure of communities of the region;
   - Development of mass sports and sports of higher achievements.
   3.2. Development of social infrastructure and inclusion:
   -Improving the system of providing social services;
   - Development of a quality inclusive environment;
   - Creation of a barrier-free space.
   3.3. Development of a network of cultural institutions:
   -Creation, reconstruction, modernization and renovation of cultural institutions of the region;
   - Formation and implementation of cultural ideology for children and youth.
   3.4 Increasing the level of environmental safety:
   - Creation of a solid household waste management system;
   - Reduction of pollution of water bodies and soils, improvement of the sanitary and ecological condition of settlements;
   - Provision of high-quality drinking water for residents of the region;
   - Ensuring civil protection of the population of the region;
   - Preservation and expansion of natural territories and objects of the nature reserve fund, restoration of forests.
