Chernivtsi Regional State Administration is a local part of the system of central executive authorities of Ukraine.
Chernivtsi region is located in the west of Ukraine. The region borders Romania in the south and Moldova in the southeast. In the west and northwest — with Ivano-Frankivsk, in the north — with Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi, and in the east with Vinnytsia Oblasts of Ukraine.
The area of the region is 8.1 thousand km². The population as of January 1, 2022 is 890.5 thousand people.
The administrative-territorial division of Chernivtsi region includes 3 districts (Vyzhnytskyi, Dnistrovskyi, Chernivtsiskyi), 52 territorial communities, of which: 11 urban, 7 village and 34 rural.
