- There are 64 schools in Mykolaiv, and each has been affected by shelling in one way or another. Six schools were utterly destroyed, says Deputy Mayor of Mykolaiv Serhiy Kornev. However, educational institutions worked, and children, even those who had to flee abroad, could study. Today, 37,000 students are enrolled in Mykolaiv schools, 15,000 of them study remotely, and 22,000 can attend classes offline. Mykolaiv Lyceum No. 60 in the Varvarivka district is one of the largest in the city. Before the full-scale invasion, over 650 children studied here. In April 2022, a cluster bomb hit one of the buildings of the institution. The building was damaged, and windows and doors were smashed. The European Regional School Meals Summit took place in Kyiv, bringing together Ukrainian and European officials, experts, and civic activists to strengthen school feeding programs in Europe and beyond. The Summit's expo zone showcased projects from communities and regional administrations to modernize canteens. Now, we are scaling up this cascade method across the country, involving representatives of communities and regional administrations. We are also establishing regulations: we have already approved the Code and Guidelines for School Catering, which provides for using three key models: a basic kitchen, a hub kitchen, and a factory kitchen. School canteen projects in DREAM: results of the European Regional School Meals Summit

The state ecosystem is becoming a Single Project Pipeline of public investment projects that meet the strategic priorities of national and regional development.&nbsp; For the first time this year, more than 130 projects have already been selected for funding using the DREAM ecosystem to ensure fast, transparent procedures and efficient project management. - The Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, and the Ministry for Development have selected 136 investment projects through the DREAM system that may be eligible for funding in 2025. However, not all will receive funds from the envisaged UAH of 25 billion. The ministries are forming a short list of priority projects, - said Deputy Minister of Finance of Ukraine Denys Uliutin. Information on investment projects approved by the Strategic Investment Council for inclusion in the Single Project Pipeline is available for monitoring through DREAM. Currently, the system provides an opportunity to check projects, basic information, technical and financial indicators, implementation status, etc. According to the roadmap for public investment management reform, the following information will eventually be available in DREAM:<ul><li>approved list of priority investment projects, prepared by the Strategic Investment Council, taking into account the methodological recommendations of the Ministry of Economy on projects prioritization, evaluation and selection;</li><li>the results of the evaluation of investment projects conducted by the Ministry of Economy and relevant line ministries;</li><li>monthly and quarterly monitoring reports on the implementation of public investment projects;</li><li>project completion reports that will be available for analysis and consideration when developing similar projects.</li></ul>According to DREAM Business Intelligence https://bi.dream.gov.ua/#/investmentProjects, 787 investment projects submitted for consideration through the DREAM ecosystem have been approved by the Strategic Investment Council for inclusion in the Single Projects Pipeline. The total amount of the State Budget of Ukraine's resources for financing public investment projects in 2025 is UAH 256.1 billion. As a reminder, in December 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the Roadmap for Public Investment Management Reform, which among other things includes creation of a single IT ecosystem based on an updated methodological framework for public investment management. This ecosystem will also integrate DREAM.

DREAM at the World Urban Forum: presentation of digital tools for Ukraine's restoration

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, almost 80% of Chernihiv's educational infrastructure has been damaged, and two schools have been destroyed. Mykolaiv Clinical Hospital is the largest in the region, with 510 inpatient beds. Its capacity can be increased with additional beds installed in corridors and halls.&nbsp; Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the number of emergency patients has increased significantly. The hospital operates around the clock, bringing patients from Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. It is impossible to stop and transport the patient somewhere else. But we have the simplest shelter in the hospital that is functioning. We have equipped both wards and operating rooms there and made repairs. And since 2022, there have been cases when medical care has been provided in this very shelter.&nbsp; A modern radiation shelter will be built next to the medical facility to improve the hospital's resources and ability to work in wartime conditions. For this purpose, a part of the hospital's food block will be reconstructed. The laboratory will be designed to make analyses, store tissue samples, and store other biological materials necessary for transplantation operations and research. There are two interregional laboratories of the first level in Ukraine. One is located in Kyiv and the other is in Lviv. The laboratory in Mykolaiv will be focused on the southern region of Ukraine. - Transplantation is the treatment that gives seriously ill patients a chance to live. We have agreements with other medical institutions.
