Major renovation of the catering unit and dining room with the purchase of new technological equipment for the general secondary education institution "Onufriyivska Comprehensive School of I-III Degrees" of the Onufriyivska Village Council, Kirovohrad Region (adjustment)

The project involves major repairs to the catering unit and dining room of the Onufriyiv Lyceum, the purchase of new technological equipment, and bringing the catering unit into line with the "Support Kitchen" catering organization model. The implementation of the project will make it possible to use the latest technological processes, increase energy efficiency indicators, comply with hygiene requirements and apply ongoing procedures based on the principles of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system, and provide students with diverse, balanced, healthy, high-quality and safe food.

By creating a support kitchen in the community, the number of employees in the catering units will be optimized, and they will be provided with a sufficient staff of qualified cooks who will organize high-quality and safe meals and help students develop healthy eating habits.

In 2024, at the expense of a subvention from the state budget to local budgets for the purchase of equipment, creation and modernization (reconstruction and overhaul) of canteens (catering units) of secondary education institutions, current repairs were carried out in 5 catering units that receive finished products from the support kitchen. As of January 2025, 296 students do not receive hot meals due to the lack of a modernized support catering unit. There are no alternative catering services in the community, which is why there are numerous complaints from parents on this issue.
