    Brief description of the project

    The infectious diseases department of the Podilsk City Hospital is located at 23 Peremohy Avenue, Podilsk, Podilsk district, Odessa region.

    Municipal non-profit enterprise "Podilsk City Hospital" PMRPROO is a cluster medical institution that meets the needs of the population of the district and the city in the treatment of the most common diseases, providing comprehensive inpatient care. In 2024, three contracts were concluded with the National Health Service of Ukraine for 26 packages of medical services.

    The department is located in a separate 2-story building of rectangular shape in plan with overall dimensions of 12.87x51.07 m. The height of the building to the eaves overhang is 3.48 m and 6.84 m. The height of the first floor of the building is 3.0 m, the height of the second floor is 3.20 m.

    The infectious disease department is a critically important component of any medical facility and is in dire need of major repairs, the main goal of which is to bring the facility to a satisfactory condition and create comfortable conditions for patients and staff.

    The working draft provides for:

    • carrying out repair work on enclosing structures;
    • replacement of the hipped roof with a new one with a new wooden rafter system, with subsequent insulation of the attic;
    • installation of new dormer windows on the roof;
    • installation of new porches with ramps and new canopies above them;
    • strengthening the external walls (cracks) in the frames and securing the facades with ties along the perimeter of the first and second floors;
    • insulation of enclosing structures with subsequent exterior decoration;
    • carrying out work on the repair of premises; interior decoration of premises;
    • rolling floor repairs (replacement of bases and coatings);
    • arrangement of a room with a bathroom and shower for the disabled population on the first floor;
    • installation of accessibility facilities for the mobility impaired population throughout the building;
    • installation of new ventilation shafts;
    • punching and expanding door and window openings in existing load-bearing walls;
    • replacement of existing wooden and metal-plastic windows and doors with new metal-plastic ones that meet thermal conductivity standards;
    • landscaping.

    For inpatient stay in the department for patients, 15 wards are provided, one of them is a ward for low-mobility population groups with one bed. According to DBN V.2.2-10-2022, the wards are designed for 2 beds. The total number of patients who can be simultaneously in the infectious department is 29 people.

    For medical workers, a staff room with a shower and a toilet is also provided. The number of employees of the infectious diseases department per shift is 7 people, with a total staff of 25 people.
