Вuilding Reconstruction of the Сommunal Institution "Children and Youth Sports School (CYSS) 'Dobrotvіr'" in Dobrotvіr, Chervonohrad district, Lviv region (Adjustment).

The main core of sports tourism in the village for 50 years has been rowing.  Children's and Youth Sports School, as an institution of additional education for children of a physical culture and sports orientation: is designed to carry out educational, training and educational work with young athletes, providing them with initial and basic training for specialization in a certain sport. Sports activities in extracurricular hours largely complement mandatory classes in physical education classes in educational institutions. In the life of modern children and adolescents, sports occupy an important place in the leisure structure. Pupils of the Youth Sports School "Dobrotvir" have considerable sporting achievements in rowing on kayaks and canoes: they are regular winners and prize-winners of the Ukrainian championships, represent our country at the European championships, and in 2017-20 participated in the World Rowing Championship at the marathon distance. 120 children and 7 professional coaches are involved in sports in the village. Taking into account the above and in order to develop sports and leisure of all categories of the population in the territory of the Dobrotvir Village Council, we plan to develop the Youth Sports School "Dobrotvir", since the rowing base "Dobrotvir" Olympic status granted: On March 3, 2021, the Government supported the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On Amendments to the List of Physical Culture and Sports Institutions Granted the Status of Olympic, Paralympic and Deaflympian Training Bases”. The school where the base operates is unique, as rowers’ training here continues throughout the year. In spring, summer and autumn, athletes train on the Western Bug River, and in winter on the warm canal of the Dobrotvirskaya TPP. The water temperature in the canal in the cold season reaches +15-20 degrees. The Ukrainian national kayaking and canoeing team trains in Dobrotvir four times a year. Every year, the following events are held at the "Dobrotvir" Youth and Youth Sports School: - All-Ukrainian zonal rowing competitions in kayaking and canoeing "Fast Boats (Western Zone)" (http://www.noc.lviv.ua/novyny/23352).   "Fast Boats" in the western zone gather more than 250 rowers from Lutsk, Kovel, Novodnistorovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Burshtyn, Khmelnytskyi, Volochysk, Ternopil, Shatsk, Rivne, Dubno, Bereznyi, as well as students from four rowing sports schools in the Lviv region - "Veslyaryk" Youth and Youth Sports School, Lviv Youth and Youth Sports School No. 3, Lviv Youth and Youth Sports School No. 1 and "Dobrotvir" Youth and Youth Sports School. The results of these zonal starts determine the teams participating in the final All-Ukrainian competitions "Swift Boats", which take place in the city of Kyiv. - Children's and Youth Spartakiad "One Country". More than 400 athletes from different parts of Ukraine and abroad (Dobrotvir village, Kamianka-Buzka, Zhovkva, Sokal, Lviv, Burshtyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zelenodolsk, Energodar, Kurakhove, Shchastia, Mariupol, Ternopil, Lutsk, Novodniestrovsk, Kovel, Dolyny, Berezhany, Siemiatyche of the Republic of Poland) visit the village every year in early September for the traditional children's and youth Spartakiad. Other regional competitions. - The base is used for training by the Ukrainian rowing team and other teams of eastern countries in preparation for competitions in European latitudes. 

Social and economic aspect of solving the problem. This project is only the first step in the development of the Dobrotvir region as a center of sports tourism. The reconstruction of the sports base will allow creating a qualitatively new social infrastructure around the reservoir in Dobrotvir. The KZ «DYUSSH «Dobrotvir»» will have the opportunity to work on the principle of partnership – with the appropriate material base (changing rooms, premises for storing boats, etc.). «DYUSSH Dobrotvir» will become part of the development of the reservoir in Dobrotvor (organically combined with the embankment, open to the community), have an aesthetic appearance and will become a center of attraction for young people and tourists. Normal conditions for the development of the Youth Sports School will allow hosting international sports groups, and the training center will be able to hold summer children's camps, trainings, etc. The village realizes its potential as a sports and tourist region. Business is engaged in creating additional value. The level of economic and/or budgetary efficiency of the project implementation: constant arrival of athletes to the territory of the Dobrotvor community for training, participation in all-Ukrainian and regional rowing competitions, guests of the community, tourists for leisure: rafting on tourist kayaks, riding water bikes (catamarans) is the mechanism that launches all investment and development processes at the local level. This is one of the fastest methods of returning money in business. And also, this is a phenomenal sphere, because it combines more than 50 related sectors of the economy. The Youth Sports School "Dobrotvir" has developed a price list of services provided for the rental and rental of tourist kayaks, water bikes, for training athletes of the Ukrainian national team and from abroad. Improving the infrastructure component of the building of the Youth Sports School "Dobrotvir" will allow this to be done at a higher level.  Additional funds raised this year will directly depend on the duration of the war in Ukraine, the organization of training events, competitions and leisure activities. The level of positive social impact of the project: one of the directions of this project is achieving the level of barrier-free access.  The issue of gender equality has recently been discussed more and more often. In terms of gender equality, rowing competitions in Dobrotvir are considered indicative. They have become more gender-equal, as almost 41 percent of female athletes took part in the competitions. Each participating team must be represented at the competitions by athletes of both sexes.

Overall goal: the project is to improve the infrastructure of the Youth and Sports School "Dobrotvir", improve sports activities and promote a healthy lifestyle, create comfortable conditions for the development of children's abilities by reconstructing the building of the Youth and Sports School "Dobrotvir" at 4 Ozerna Street in the village of Dobrotvir.

Specific goal 1: Carry out reconstruction work on the building of the Youth and Sports School "Dobrotvir" with a total area of 416m2 using energy-saving and energy-saving technologies

Result 1.1: Work has been carried out on the reconstruction of the building of the Youth and Sports School "Dobrotvir" with the arrangement of residential premises, a boathouse, a gym and a lightning protection tower. A one-story summer residential building of the KZ «DYUSSH Dobrotvir» was built , using energy-saving and energy-saving technologies;

Specific goal 2: To equip the territory around the building of the Children's and Youth Sports School "Dobrotvir": an external water supply network (PE 100 63*3.9mm) with a total length of 379 m. to the building of the Children's and Youth Sports School "Dobrotvir". - a sewage network (160*3.2mm) with a total length. 382 m. to the building of the KZ «DYUSSH Dobrotvir».

Result 2.1: Carrying out works on improving the territory.

Result 2.2. The improvement and landscaping of the territory of the KZ «DYUSSH Dobrotvir» has been carried out: - the area of paving the territory – 1323.84 m2; - road and sidewalk paving area 3,567.45 m2. - parking lot paving area 1,600.00 m2 - landscaping area – 1,800.00 m2. The facility has been put into operation.

Specific goal 3. Create safe and harmless conditions for the development, upbringing and education of children aged 10 to 17, work regime, conditions for physical development and health promotion in accordance with sanitary and hygienic requirements and ensure their compliance.

Result 3.1. The service was received by 120 students of the sports school and 2 thousand athletes from Ukraine and abroad.

Result 3.2. An additional sport was introduced into the teaching program - football for the comprehensive development of children and the Children's Youth School "Dobrotvir"»»

Result 3.3. Provision of services for the Dobrotvor community, guests and tourists in the form of pedal boats, tourist kayaks, and rafting on the Western Bug River.
