Energy Sector

The development of the energy sector has a decisive impact on the state of the national economy and the quality of life of the population.
This pipeline will present public investment projects and programs in the energy sector that align with the following areas: fossil fuels, renewable energy sources and alternative fuels, nuclear energy, electricity generation, and the oil and gas industry. These initiatives are aimed at supporting the implementation of the Energy Strategy of Ukraine. The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine is engaged in the preparation and development of projects and programs in these areas, forming a sectoral project pipeline at the national level and subsequently enriching it with public investment projects at the regional and local levels.
Indicative total public investment ceiling is 120'834'620'600 UAH, including funds from the State Fund for Decarbonization and Energy Efficiency Transformation in the amount of 6'930'983'900 UAH, and State Guarantees in the amount of 105'100'000'000 UAH

Interruptible Power Devices (IED) and training for the reconstruction and development of Ukraine's high-voltage electricity transmission network for Ukrenergo NPP
not provided
The project is aimed at increasing the reliability and safety of Ukraine's high-voltage energy infrastructure by implementing modern relay protection and control devices (IED) at the facilities of NPP "Ukrenergo" in the most affected regions (Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk regions, etc.). It is also planned to provide remote technical support from Hitachi Energy (Switzerland and Ukraine), which will ensure the effective use of equipment, the development of personnel competencies and the formation of sustainable engineering expertise within Ukrenergo. The project meets the priorities of the Government of Ukraine regarding the restoration of energy infrastructure and is critically important, since without reliable power supply, the development of any sector of the economy is impossible - from industry to the humanitarian sphere. IED protection allows you to localize accidents and prevent cascading shutdowns of networks, fires or destruction of transformers, reactors and other high-value equipment.
