The project is aimed at creating a modern educational space in the Novovolynsk Scientific Lyceum of the Volyn Regional Council in order to improve the quality of education, develop human capital, and ensure students' access to innovative resources and modern educational opportunities. The Lyceum has a clear strategic vision for the development of the institution, sustainable dynamics of educational achievements and is beginning to implement the principles of the New Ukrainian School. The implementation of the project will allow the development of STEM education and robotics, which is a priority area of the institution's strategy, to expand the opportunities for the development of practical skills of gifted youth in the natural sciences: mathematics, chemistry, astronomy, robotics, and technology. The project involves the creation of a modern educational space and includes not only the purchase of furniture, but also the purchase of teaching aids, computer and multimedia equipment. The implementation of the measures will allow the creation of four modern educational laboratories: physics, chemistry, biology, STEM laboratory and two theoretical rooms: mathematics, geography. The project proposal provides for the attraction of not only state budget subvention funds, but also local (regional) funds, which are planned to be used for the renovation of existing classrooms at the lyceum.

Full barrier-free access (medical-type elevators, accessible bathrooms, tactile/contrast navigation) and modern security systems (addressable fire alarm, smoke protection, notification, backup power supply) are provided. Engineering systems include an energy-efficient shell, supply and exhaust ventilation with heat recovery, modern heat supply and automated control (BMS). The solution complies with current building, sanitary and fire safety standards, provides for infection control and crisis resilience. The project is aimed at creating a modern, safe and energy-efficient educational space in accordance with state safety standards. The technical solution has a number of significant advantages. Economically, the project allows you to optimize the costs of maintaining the building through the use of modern materials and technologies that reduce the need for frequent repairs and maintenance. Installation of energy-saving lighting and automated control systems will ensure a reduction in energy consumption and utility costs. Rational use of funds occurs by directing investments exclusively to eliminate violations specified by the regulations of the State Emergency Service, without excessive costs. In addition, the modernization of fire protection systems will prevent possible economic losses in the event of emergencies, contributing to an increase in the value of the institution's fixed assets. Environmental advantages consist in the use of energy-efficient technologies that reduce resource consumption and emissions of harmful substances into the environment. In the process of performing work, compliance with requirements for construction waste management, separate collection and disposal of materials is provided. The implementation of the project contributes to the formation of an environmentally conscious environment and the development of a culture of careful attitude towards nature among participants in the educational process. Social benefits are decisive. The project will ensure an increase in the level of safety and comfort for 450 students and employees of the lyceum, as well as create conditions for continuous full-time education even under martial law.
