Khmelnytskyi Oblast (unofficially - Khmelnytskyi Region) (until February 4, 1954 - Kamianets-Podilskyi) is an oblast in Western Ukraine.
The area is 20,624 km² (3.42% of the territory of Ukraine, 19th in this indicator in the country). Population - 1,264.7 thousand people (01.01.2019). The center is the city of Khmelnytskyi. The region has 1,452 settlements, including 13 cities, 24 urban-type settlements, 5 settlements, 1,410 villages.
