Instead of a comprehensive overhaul, the alternative of carrying out current cosmetic repairs with partial replacement of individual units of kitchen equipment was considered. This option was rejected, since it does not allow for the redevelopment of premises to implement the mandatory HACCP food safety system. Cosmetic measures do not solve the problem of critical wear and tear of internal engineering networks and do not provide the necessary accessibility conditions for low-mobility groups of the population. Refusal to insulate facades and replace the roof within the framework of the alternative would lead to further significant heat losses and inefficient use of budget funds.

An alternative solution is based on an infrared detection system, where high-speed cameras read laser pulses from adapted weapon models. The digital environment is formed using short-focus projectors that reproduce dynamic scenarios with automatic calculation of virtual ballistics. The software package provides instant analysis of the aiming trajectory and records shooter errors, such as tremor or incorrect trigger. Due to the absence of real ammunition, the center guarantees complete safety of personnel and allows training to be conducted in any unprepared premises. However, due to the high sensitivity of the sensors to lighting and the lack of physical recoil of the weapon, the project is currently defined as experimental and is not considered for practical implementation.
