General Information
Program Description
The goal of the program is to improve student living conditions by modernizing dormitories in state and municipal institutions of vocational and professional pre-higher education, which provide young people with the opportunity to obtain high-quality professional (vocational) education close to home, train personnel to meet the needs of local employers, and saturate the labor market with professional personnel.
The program provides for the renewal of the material and technical base, the creation of an inclusive, safe, and energy-efficient environment, as well as the arrangement of modern spaces for self-training, leisure, and socialization. Special attention is paid to meeting the needs of students with different social and cultural backgrounds, including internally displaced persons, students with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.
This will help improve the quality of the educational environment, the prestige of vocational education, and the general social comfort of students.
Expected results by 2028: 175 modernized dormitories; 35,000 renovated residential spaces.
The implementation of the dormitory modernization program will not only improve students' living conditions, but will also create a multiplier effect for the economy, labor market, infrastructure development, and energy efficiency. Investments in modernization are an investment in human capital that returns through increased productivity, reduced social tension, the development of vocational education, and the preservation of labor potential in the regions.
