General information

Description of the project

The New Ukrainian School is a key reform of the Ministry of Education and Science. The main goal is to create a school where it will be pleasant to study and which will give students not only knowledge, as is the case now, but also the ability to apply it in everyday life. This is a school where students enjoy going. Here they listen to their opinions, teach them to think critically, not be afraid to express their own opinions and be responsible citizens. At the same time, parents also like to attend this school, because cooperation and mutual understanding reign here.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the New Ukrainian School project is to create a modern, innovative and child-centered educational environment that provides the formation of competencies necessary for life in the 21st century. The project is aimed at transitioning from an outdated learning model based on memorizing facts to a model that forms critical thinking, creativity, responsibility, cooperation and civic consciousness. Ways to achieve the goal Investments in educational infrastructure: capital repairs and modernization of school premises; creation of modern classrooms (STEM, Smart-classes, resource rooms); purchase of laptops, interactive panels, projectors, furniture.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Most community educational institutions have outdated material and technical base that does not meet the requirements of competency-based learning, interactive forms of work, inclusion and accessibility. Insufficient training and qualifications of teaching staff. Competency-based approach, changing the educational environment, partnership pedagogy, creating modern classes (STEM, Smart classes, resource rooms), purchasing laptops, interactive panels, projectors, furniture.
