General information

Description of the project

The arrangement of shelters is a necessary condition for the protection of students and employees of educational institutions in conditions of military threats and emergencies. The presence of safe and functional structures allows for a prompt response to danger and guarantees the preservation of the life and health of all participants in the educational process

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Secondary Goal:

Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

In the context of the worsening security situation in Ukraine, a significant part of secondary education institutions do not have properly equipped civil defense structures (shelters). The absence or unsatisfactory condition of shelters creates serious risks to the life and health of students and teaching staff in the event of emergencies, in particular military operations or man-made disasters. The scale of the problem covers hundreds of schools across the country, especially in regions located in high-risk areas. The consequences are increased vulnerability of educational infrastructure, reduced sense of security among participants in the educational process, and limited opportunities for continuous learning in emergency conditions.
