General information

Description of the project

The project involves major renovation of the building of the General Practice – Family Medicine Clinic in the village of Zhovtantsi with the implementation of a set of energy-efficient solutions and modernization of engineering systems: heating, ventilation, electricity, water supply and sewage, as well as renovation of internal premises and landscaping of the territory.

The renovation also creates an accessible space for support and assistance for veterans, in accordance with modern requirements for inclusiveness and energy saving. The expected result is to improve access to quality medical services for the population, increase the energy efficiency of the building, and ensure comfortable and barrier-free conditions for patients, including veterans and groups with reduced mobility.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities

Secondary goal:

Introducing innovations and energy-efficient solutions

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to create a modern inclusive medical space to ensure equal access of the population to quality primary health care services, including for veterans and people with limited mobility. The goal is achieved through a major renovation of the outpatient clinic building at 6 Lvivska St., Zhovtantsi village with the introduction of energy-efficient technologies, modernization of engineering networks, renovation of internal premises and arrangement of a barrier-free environment. The current state of the premises and engineering infrastructure does not meet the requirements of inclusivity and energy saving, which limits the quality and accessibility of medical services. The implementation of the project will ensure safe, comfortable and affordable conditions for patient care, reduce operating costs and expand opportunities for support and accompaniment of community veterans.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The outpatient clinic in the village of Zhovtanci operates only in part of the building, which limits the number of patients who can be served with high quality and hinders the development of accessible medical services in the community. The unused part of the premises is not suitable for operation, as it does not have equipped internal spaces and engineering networks. At the same time, the community is experiencing a growing need for local veteran support services and barrier-free access for all categories of the population, which the current infrastructure cannot provide. Without the implementation of the project, there will be a shortage of primary health care at the local level, and patients will continue to be forced to contact institutions outside the community. The project will allow expanding the operation of the outpatient clinic, creating accessible conditions for all population groups, and improving the quality of medical services in the community.
