General information

Description of the project

One of the priority tasks of the Artsyz City Council under martial law is to ensure the safety of participants in the educational process and create conditions for full-time education.

Artsyz Lyceum No. 4 is located in the central part of the city of Artsyz, it is attended by 457 students and employs more than 60 employees. The lack of an anti-radiation shelter (ADS) makes it impossible to conduct full-time education for most classes, which negatively affects the quality of education and the psycho-emotional state of children. There are no buildings within the institution and in the surrounding area that can be converted in accordance with civil defense requirements.

From 2027, an academic lyceum is planned to be created on the basis of one of the lyceum buildings, which involves increasing the number of students and expanding educational programs. This reinforces the need to equip a modern shelter that will meet safety requirements for a larger number of students and employees.

Given the limited financial resources of the community and the priority of funding protected budget items, the implementation of the project is possible only with state support.
