General information

Description of the project

The project "Major repairs and improvement of part of the territory of the Tyachiv District Hospital at 48 Neresenska Street in the city of Tyachiv, Zakarpattia Oblast" is being implemented to improve the infrastructure and safe conditions for using the territory of the healthcare facility. The customer/beneficiary of the works is the KNP "Tyachiv District Hospital" of the Tyachiv City Council, Zakarpattia Oblast. The facility belongs to the CC1 impact class. The key component of the project is the installation of a storm sewer network for rainwater drainage with the connection of storm drains and drainage trays, using PVC SN4 pipes. The implementation of the project will ensure orderly drainage and increase the comfort and safety of movement for patients, visitors and staff on the hospital territory.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the equality of wealth distribution, Improving the condition of infrastructure, Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The overall goal of the project is to improve the safety, accessibility, and functionality of the healthcare facility through comprehensive landscaping and elimination of problems with the accumulation and uncontrolled runoff of rainwater. The problem that the project solves: during precipitation, puddles and flooding form in certain areas of the territory, the pavement collapses, and the traffic and safety of movement for patients (including those with limited mobility), visitors, and staff deteriorate. This reduces the quality of the environment around the hospital and creates additional costs for ongoing repairs. The specific goal is to ensure organized drainage of rainwater through the arrangement of a storm (rain) sewage system and related catchment elements, as well as to arrange the pavement and adjacent areas within the landscaping.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Outdated infrastructure, improving the conditions for patients to stay on the hospital premises, which will speed up their recovery, both physical and mental.
