General information

Description of the project

The fitness and health pool is a new construction object (unfinished new construction). The construction of the pool was carried out in 2018-2021. Capacity 40 people/shift, number of people who will use the service 120 people/day. The object was not damaged\destroyed  as a result of the military aggression of the Russian Federation, it is not registered in the register of damaged property. Construction readiness as of 09/01/2025  - 79%. The last examination was carried out   by   LLC "Persha  Strudivelna Ekspertiza",  expert report No. 211115-7/A 12/03/2021. Consequence class SS2. The pool is a 3-story building, total area 2768.0 m2, volume - 15531.0 m3. The total estimated cost of the construction object is 95752.729 thousand UAH. As of 01.09.2025, work worth 75661.6 thousand UAH has been carried out. The customer for the construction is the Kostopil Children's and Youth Sports School of the Kostopil City Council.                 
The specified project is among the three important objects for the Kostopil City Council, identified as the highest priority measure of the Program for the Economic and Social Development of the Kostopil Urban Territorial Community for 2025, approved by the Council's decision of December 23, 2021 No. 586 and the Action Plan for 2024-2027 for the implementation of the Development Strategy of the Kostopil Urban Territorial Community for the period until 2030, approved by the Council's decision of June 5, 2024 No. 1669. 
As of September 1, 2025, work on the construction of the foundations, building, roof, and bowl of two swimming pools has been completed; window and door blocks have been installed;  part of the internal and external finishing works have been carried out; the necessary equipment has been partially purchased. The facility is scheduled for completion in 2026-2027.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Due to the pollution of natural water bodies, residents of the Kostopil community do not have the opportunity to learn to swim and improve their health through water procedures. As a result of the construction of the swimming pool, 4,500 students of general education institutions, 700 students of special education institutions, and 25,000 residents of the community will be able to regularly engage in water sports.
