The purpose of the project "Emergency and restoration work (reconstruction) of the administrative building letter "B-1" on the territory of the Dergachiv Central Hospital of the Dergachiv City Council" is to create a modern rehabilitation department on the basis of the reconstructed administrative building, which will ensure the provision of high-quality medical services in medical, physical and psychological rehabilitation for patients with various types of diseases and consequences of injuries, including military personnel and civilians injured as a result of hostilities. The implementation of the project will contribute to: • increasing the availability of rehabilitation services in the Dergachiv community and surrounding areas; • improving the material and technical base of the medical institution; • creating conditions for the treatment of up to 1,000 patients per year (40 in the hospital and 40 in the outpatient department each month); • reducing the load on regional rehabilitation centers; • strengthening the community health care system in accordance with the standards of the National Health Service of Ukraine. ________________________________________ Methods of achieving the goal (main project implementation measures) 1. Construction and technical stage • Carrying out emergency restoration and reconstruction works of the administrative building, letter "B-1"; • Re-equipment of internal premises for the needs of the rehabilitation department (wards, doctors' offices, exercise therapy rooms, physiotherapy rooms, showers, bathrooms, utility rooms, etc.); • Providing the building with modern engineering networks (electricity, water supply, sewage, heating, ventilation, fire safety system, Internet network); • Ensuring accessibility for low-mobility groups of the population (ramps, elevator, tactile navigation elements, etc.). 2. Material and technical equipment • Purchase of medical, physiotherapeutic and rehabilitation equipment (exercises, electro- and magnetotherapy devices, massage rooms, kinesiotherapy, exercise therapy, etc.); • Purchase of furniture, inventory, computer equipment and patient registration systems; • Equipping premises with energy-saving means (LED lighting, modern boilers, thermal insulation materials). 3. Organizational stage • Formation of medical staff of the rehabilitation department (doctors, physical therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, nurses); • Conducting training and advanced training of staff in accordance with modern rehabilitation standards; • Development of internal protocols and patient routes in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health and the National Health Service; • Registration of a new unit and conclusion of agreements with the National Health Service to obtain funding under medical guarantee programs. 4. Information and communication component • Conducting an information campaign among the population on the availability of rehabilitation services; • Interaction with communities, military units, primary level hospitals on patient referrals; • Promotion of a healthy lifestyle and injury prevention.

Expected results • The administrative building has been completely renovated; • The rehabilitation department has been functioning with a capacity of 80 patients/month; • 30 jobs have been created; • Up to 1,000 patients have been served annually; • The level of medical safety of the community has been increased.
