General information

Description of the project

Drinking water tank V=1200 m, manufactured in 1978. Concrete frame. Inside lined with a metal sheet d-5mm (material steel 3). During the period of operation due to metal corrosion (oxidation)  60% of the area is completely devoid of metal, the rest is in the state of a sheet "lattice". The concrete frame is not airtight, water leaks. The tank requires an internal lining for tightness, and the main thing is for the quality of drinking water. 1.2 Drinking water tower     The drinking water tower is a red brick base on which the tank is installed. The height of the base h = 15m, the volume of the tank V = 500 m.    Only the tank needs to be replaced or modernized due to its corrosion, as evidenced by numerous "patches" on the surface of the tank. A significant reduction in the thickness of the tank metal (material steel 3) is evidenced by the violation of its shape. There are deformations in the form of "belly" on the initial shape of the cone and cylinder. This is due to the reduction in the thickness of the metal during corrosion. When welding additional extensions in the middle of the tank, the wall is actually held by the electrode. 1.3 The need to modernize the water desalination station and restore the operation of the bactericidal installation with the replacement of the installation manufactured in 1976 with the existing current ones. Water from the water intake wells "Dibrivka" and the wells "Tsegelny zavod" carries an increased iron content of 2.6 ÷4.0 mg/dm, which significantly affects the quality of drinking water. Also, all drinking water has an increased water hardness of      8 mg – eq/dm, which is due to the increased content of calcium salts     153 mg/dm. The water deironing station was manufactured and installed economically in 1987. Today it requires modernization with the installation of filters for water softening. 1.4 Network replacement     Pipelines supplying drinking water to the city were laid  in 1978. A significant part of them  became unusable, since no major repairs were carried out during this period.  Small emergency areas were replaced. Pipeline materials: ceramics, cast iron and steel. The most worn steel sections. It is necessary to replace a total of 1200 m. of water supply. The existing diameter of the pipelines of the DU is 300.
