Description of the project

The project is aimed at the socialization and reintegration of the elderly and people with disabilities into civilian life. The implementation of the project involves the conversion of a non-residential building into a barrier-free residential building for the provision of supported living services in the territory of the Khorol community for 30 people. Providing people, in particular the elderly and people with disabilities, with the opportunity to live independently in familiar conditions, receiving the necessary support to maintain dignity, independence and ensure social integration, avoiding isolation and creating a barrier-free space for life.

The goal of the project is to create conditions for independent living for people with disabilities and the elderly by developing supported living services, namely the conversion of a non-residential building into a residential building with a total area of 418.4 sq m.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Redevelopment of a non-residential building into a residential building with a total area of 418.4 sq. m. with the aim of "Creating conditions for independent living for people with disabilities and the elderly by developing supported living services". Currently, this category of people is cared for by social workers of the territorial social service center of the Khorolsk City Council, the department of social assistance at home, providing home care services. The existing living conditions do not meet their needs, as there are insufficient material benefits to improve these conditions. By implementing the project, we will be able to provide decent conditions for supported living to people who need it
